| The “Jan Sanjivani” scheme’s cover will exclude: |

HIV/AIDS and other auto immune diseases. |
| 2. |
Cost of spectacles, IOL costing more than Rs.150/-, hearing aids, cosmetic dental treatment, cosmetic surgery. |
| 3. |
Any treatment required as a consequence of war or natural calamity or acts of terrorism. |
| 4. |
Congenital external diseases, defects or anomalies. |
| 5. |
Abortion, sterilization and fertility related procedures General debility /impairment/run down conditions or rest cure. Jan Sanjivani Scheme will not cover the following expenses: |

Transportation and ambulance charge |
| 7. |
Expenses of relatives for stay food etc. |
| 8. |
Cosmetic items like soaps, powders etc. |
| 9. |
Telephone/fax expenses. |
| 10. |
External implants and accessories like crutches, abdominal belts, artificial limbs and prosthetic devices. |
| 11. |
Internal implants and devices |
| 12. |
Any other expenditure not directly relating to illness/hospitalization. |
